About Songbirds Music School

Teaching music is what I love most in the world. I'm a vocalist, songwriter, performer, and passionate educator. For almost 10 years I've been instructing voice, piano, and early childhood group classes in a fun and creative way. 

While ALL my lessons give students: 

1) A sense of accomplishment 

2) The joy of music-making 

3) The language tools of music

Each lesson is different. My goal is to make lessons engaging for the individual, because after all, we learn best when we're interested, and working toward a goal.

Songbirds Music School was born after years of taking on private students for my studio. Looking forward to what's to come.

Fun fact: I'm a traveling operation at the moment. I've taught students in St. Louis, Belgium, and even Thailand! 

I'm an active member of Gordon Institute of Music Learning, Music Teachers National Association, MTNA, and the Vibrant Music Teachers Community. 

Certified in Early Childhood Music Learning Theory, the Full Voice method for young singers, and Musikgarten group piano instruction.
