I offer individualized 30-minute or 60-minute voice lessons.  

Some skills we focus on include: sight-singing, ear training (audiation), vocal warm-ups and scales, improvisation, music theory, composition, exploring various vocal styles (Jazz, Classical, Pop, etc.), duet singing, vocal range extension, emotional expression through song

I specialize in teaching Young Singers ages 4-10 using the Full Voice method, where we focus on ear training, learning a variety of songs, using solfege hand signs, and emotional expression.

I offer individualized 30-minute or 60-minute piano lessons. 

Much of my piano lessons focus on audiation and embodying music - making sure the student has a solid grasp on sounds and meter internally in tangent with exploring music notation. 

An overview of some skills we focus on include: sight-reading, ear training (audiation), scales in multiple tonalities, improvisation, composition, exploring different musical styles (Jazz, Classical, Pop, etc.), rhythm exercises, expressive phrasing and dynamics, and duet playing

I offer group piano classes using the Musikgarten's group piano method, "Music Makers at the Keyboard" ***While I can facilitate  this 16 week class, I am a traveling operation! So if you have the space and extra keyboards, we can make it work. :) ***

• Introduction to the Keyboard: Students will start with familiarizing themselves with the keyboard, learning about the layout of the keys, and basic hand positioning.
• Musical Concepts: The course will cover fundamental musical concepts such as rhythm, pitch, and dynamics through interactive activities. This might include clapping to rhythms or singing to develop pitch recognition.
• Listening Skills: Developing listening skills is crucial in music. Students will engage in activities designed to help them listen to and analyze different elements of music, improving their ability to play by ear.
• Musical Notation: Reading music is a key component of the class. Students will learn to read and write musical notation, starting with simple notes and rhythms and gradually introducing more complex pieces.
• Creativity and Improvisation: To foster creativity, students will have opportunities to create their own music and improvise, using the skills they have learned.
